ENERGY TIPS AND TRICKS

PROTECTING YOUR HOME & LOVED ONES

Your home is your sanctuary, a place where you seek comfort, peace, and positive energy.

However, negative or stagnant energy can sometimes find its way into our living spaces, affecting our well-being. In this article, we'll explore the importance of protecting your home energetically.

We'll discuss effective methods to remove negative energy and establish a harmonious environment that promotes positivity and balance.

These are a few simple and easy ways you can protect your home, business and loved ones.

You probably have some of these items at home already.

Safety Pin: This one is particularly popular in Eastern Europe, and I personally use this one for my son and husband. Place a safety pin on an item of clothing belonging to the family member that you wish to protect.

Usually, I pick an item that is out of season so that the family member doesn’t wear it and get pricked! For instance, a coat in summer or a pair of shorts in winter. I then keep this as the first hanging item in the closet so that I remember to take the safety pin out when the item is to be worn.

Incense: After each day (or weekly if preferred), to cleanse the home or place of business, use a lit incense stick (or smudge stick) and carry the smoke through each room. Smoke is considered very cleansing, especially if you need to move on stagnant or dense energy - this method is popular across many cultures and jurisdictions.

Salt: Similar to incense, for those who prefer something without a scent (perhaps there are asthmatics in the home or young children) then, placing salt at the entry will absorb any dense or stagnant energy. The salt will then need to be removed so that the unwanted energy is also removed. I do this regularly!

Clear Quartz: Crystals, particularly clear or white, are often associated with protection. Place a clear crystal in your living room or on your work desk. Please remember that crystals need to be regularly cleansed, too - this can be done with salt.

Red String: This is particularly popular for young children as this method represents warding off negative energy, particularly when aroused by envy. I place a red string on my son’s left wrist - this is an ancient method of protection and can be found in several cultures i.e. Chinese, Indian and, in our case - Kabbalistic. It acts as a talisman for good fortune and to keep bad energy away.

By taking the time to protect your home energetically, you create a safe and uplifting space for yourself and your loved ones.

Remember, energy can attach itself to things, places, and people, and it's crucial to regularly cleanse and protect your home to maintain a harmonious atmosphere. Embrace the practices shared in this article and allow your home to become a haven of positivity and peace.
